The founder, Wei Ching Chih, was born on April 15th, 1955 in Baihe Dist., Tainan City and graduated from KUAS with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has worked for AirAsia and Tientai, and has nearly 40 years of experience in the thermal spraying (welding) industry. The founder’s emphasis on customer benefits and employee welfare has enabled his company to grow and create value for partners as well as the well-being of employees and shareholders.

The founder established Plus Metal Technology in June 2008, in which year the financial crisis occurred. Under the uncertain market condition and capital squeezed, with his honest and pragmatic personality, the efforts of the company team and the support of his family and friends, the company was able to survive the recession and its turnover grew 40 times in the fifth year of establishment.

With the belief of being responsible, helpful, horses for courses and grateful, the founder has led his team to continuously improve and work together with his partners to create greater benefits for customers and make employees to live and work. In addition, the founder is also passionate about public welfare, providing annual funding to support the police and fire departments, and giving back to the village and schools. PMT team will continue the beliefs of the founder and work hard for the sustainable development and social responsibility.
